China-Italy Industrial Tech Cooperation Deepened: SRT Leads Innovation Linkage

A 29-member delegation from Confindustria Vicenza (Vicenza Industrialists' Association) recently visited Beijing Soft Robot Technology Co., Ltd. (SRT) in Beijing, engaging in in-depth discussions on soft robotics, AI integration, advanced materials R&D, and cross-sector applications.Organized by the Italian Secretariat of the China-Italy Entrepreneurs Committee and introduced by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, the visit aimed to strengthen practical cooperation between China and Italy in high-end manufacturing and technological innovation.

As one of Italy’s most influential industrial associations, Confindustria Vicenza boasts over 1,600 member enterprises spanning machinery manufacturing, new materials, and automation systems. The delegation, led by President Barbara Beltrame Giacomello, included representatives from the Italian Trade Agency, the Italian Embassy in China, and the CCPIT’s International Exchange and Cooperation Department—reflecting strong international recognition of SRT’s technical strength.

SRT showcased its breakthroughs in full-chain soft robotics technologies, including flexible end-effectors, bionic control systems, and AI vision integration, along with mature solutions for healthcare, food processing, and service robotics. The company also shared cutting-edge research in rigid-flexible hybrid structures, smart material modification, and nonlinear simulation models, presenting its technology roadmap from flexible grippers to future-oriented artificial muscles and electronic skin. The Italian delegates expressed great interest in SRT’s independent innovation, particularly its technical advantages in high-precision gripping and human-robot collaboration. SRT has built a complete technology ecosystem covering core components, workstations, and scenario-based solutions. Through continuous iteration of bionic technology and multi-modal sensing, it is advancing a full-link technology closed-loop and achieving global industrialization in industry-academia-research applications.

This visit marks a high-level dialogue between the Chinese and Italian manufacturing sectors, and a key step for SRT to showcase its technologies globally. Moving forward, SRT will integrate international insights with local industrial needs, expanding its global technical services to inject new impetus into global industrial automation and smart manufacturing.
