On April 29, HARMAY, the global beauty boutique, officially opened its Wuhan Tiandi store. Reimagining HARMAY's warehouse-style DNA, the store swiftly became a mecca for fashion trendsetters to visit and shop. Adding to its allure is the intelligent display three-dimensional warehouse created by SRT, which seamlessly fuses technology with beauty, and juxtaposes the charm of ancient commercial banks with modern machinery—crafting a shopping experience that immerses visitors in a sci-fi universe. Through this cross-border collaboration, SRT and HARMAY invite you to embark on a captivating "Cyberpunk" journey together.
Hundreds of years ago, old commercial banks with blue bricks, white walls, and retro doors and windows were already exporting various fine products from the Yangtze River Basin. Hundreds of years later, HARMAY Huamei's Wuhan Tiandi store now gathers global beauty products here, sharing fashion with "style influencers".
However, pushing open this door that spans a hundred years, you will find that the worlds inside and outside are two different time-spaces. Outside the door, the retro charm of the old commercial bank remains unchanged. Inside, there are neatly arranged vintage containers and, most amazingly, a "sci-fi world" that seems to come from the future, embellished with various metallic elements.
This "sci-fi world" is the intelligent display three-dimensional warehouse created by SRT for HARMAY Huamei's Wuhan Tiandi store.
In terms of hardware, the three-dimensional warehouse consists of 4-sided shelves with a total of 560 storage locations, meeting the intensive storage needs of enterprises. SRT has equipped it with 4 picking robots, 4 elevators, and 4 sets of packaging robots. The warehouse's inbound and outbound ports are integrated with an APP, enabling fully automated operations for material handling, including order placement, picking, and outbound processes—achieving unmanned operations across the entire scenario from order to delivery.
Moreover, to prevent claw damage to blind box packaging, SRT replaced traditional rigid grippers with flexible ones. Inspired by starfish morphology, SRT's flexible grippers are innovative soft-end effectors made from food-grade standard silicone rubber. They offer advantages such as high compatibility, gentle operation, and non-destructive grasping, making them ideal for handling items with soft packaging like cosmetics and blind boxes.
What’s more noteworthy is that the gripper color can be customized according to corporate requirements. At HARMAY Huamei’s Wuhan Tiandi store, SRT customized the flexible grippers in black to match HARMAY Huamei’s consistent warehouse-style aesthetic.
In terms of software, SRT adopted advanced and practical operating systems and large database support software, enabling distributed data management and access connections across multiple data sources. Relying on information technology and modern logistics technology, SRT has fully reengineered and optimized the entire business process. Additionally, considering long-term development, the entire intelligent three-dimensional display warehouse system adopts a modular design, ensuring it is advanced, stable, secure, reliable, and easy to maintain and manage.
Thanks to calculations from its massive database, the three-dimensional warehouse can quickly adjust shelf structures and product iterations regularly based on market demand. For example, it directly presents data on which products sell well, which price points are popular, and which lipstick shades are more favored, etc. Compared with traditional beauty boutiques that adjust every few months, the three-dimensional warehouse can make adjustments daily or even hourly.
With the improvement of people's consumption levels, store orders are increasing day by day, and labor costs are rising year by year, putting greater pressure on enterprises' warehouse operation and management. As a pioneer of advanced technology, SRT has deeply explored real-world scenario needs, deploying a large automated warehousing space for HARMAY Huamei's Wuhan Tiandi store. By using intelligent robots to automatically sort blind boxes, it reduces labor intensity and alleviates the shortage of manpower. Thanks to the support of SRT's leading technology, HARMAY Huamei's Wuhan Tiandi store has become the only blind box warehouse with mechanical arms in China, and an important carrier for HARMAY Huamei to promote its brand culture.
